wedding gift

I made some adjustments since the last drawing, any better?

This is a wedding gift I've been working on for my cousin for the 5th of august. I made it big enough to print off as a poster.

Any suggestions would be great.

1/2 of flash animation

Go to link to see it. It's been preocuping my spare time for almost a week now, probably longer then in should have. It's easy to lose track of time on your own work. Anyway, feedback would be great. I'm going to do the other half as soon as I get a microphone; I'm recording a rob paulson line from an old animaniacs cartoon.

Again this is based on stuff from final fantasy 9; the monster and the boy aren't completely original designs.

another flash walktest

Another flash animation test, this time with a character better suited to flash. The funny thing is I had a lot more full animation in it before, but found it looked better when I took it out except in the feet. I finally got to roughing and timing out the animatic, so I figured it would be okay to do at least one test with one of the characters.

Plus some life drawing from class.

Quick sketch of some fantasy wildlife. Its a gag where the characters are caught in a cave, and each predator that attacks them is consumed by an even more imposing predator. Reading Left to right, we got an imp, a maticore, a wyrm and a cave dragon. I put in a bigger version of the latter two; I think their too small in relation.

"Without a Clue"

Heres a very small preview of a project I started before work began. Due to bigger priorities it kind of had to go on hiatus. I hope to start it up again at some point, although an ending still hasn't been decided. This isn't everything I've done on it so far, but most of the rest is just extra expressions and continuity shots.

Annanda's cousins. I thought it would be a funny way to get across a sense of discomfort for a fat girl to reunite with her astranged family, only to see that every single one of them are waifs. I gabe them large noses and overbites so more fun could be had with them and to avoid the socialite scenario the fairies were starting to develop; Anne still needs to be the pretty one of the group. I was scared when I was working out the fat/skinny thing it would come across as some degrassi high episode, so by not making the skinny girls perfect snobs, hopefully I can keep the story from getting off topic without having to lose the gag.

Tried to see if I couldn't do something different.

Very "Claire Wendling"ish looking at it now.

I suppose when your on top of five hundred pounds of claws, teeth and fur, guys won't bother you no matter what you're wearing. Or not wearing rather... I'm not that witty, am I?

More characters; I know, I have a bad habit of drawing characters just in the standard lineup pose; I just find it's easier to work the design out if you can show what it's like when it isn't doing anything. A slightly alterred version of Zandle, along with his former appearance. I realize the stripes move up as he gets older; mayber I'll move them down on his senior version. They won't fit on the hips of the young one. Below is a version of one of the "clansmen", along with his griffin steed (they all have one). I toyed with the idea of them being identical, faceless drones, which makes them easier to register as a group.

Sorry it's been so long, I was on holiday at my families; the hot weather scary. I'm sticking to the bus as long as possible. Anyway, These are two sketches I did while on the farm. The first one is part of the story; I had just finished writing a scene which worked the telescope in, so I sketched it after just to have something to color. The second is just a sketch of the lake on my parent's farm.
